The
Appointments Committee comprises of twelve councillors, who
represent the political balance of the Council.
The
Appointments Committee functions are to discharge on behalf of the
Council the appointment, suspension, or take disciplinary action
relating to the Chief Executive as the County Council's Head of
Paid Service (Subject to Council Approval); and Chief Officers as
defined in Article 9 of the Council's Constitution.
Meetings of the Appointments Committee will be arranged as and
when required, and would normally be held at County Offices,
Newland, Lincoln, LN1 1YL. The meetings are generally open to the public,
unless otherwise specified.
