My reasoning and supporting evidence is the increase in heavy good vehicles. The weight limit should be between the times 22.00 to 06.00 and start at either end of Bourne between the Bourne road and south road roundabout, giving the vehicles the option to go on the A151 then A1 north. The other sign should be on the A15 and A52 roundabout giving them the option to go on the A52. Also signs would need to be on the west and east sides too.
Bourne is getting larger as well as other villages. The majority of heavy goods vehicles are travelling between Lincoln and Peterborough. The A1 would be the ideal route unless they are loading/unloading at either Bourne or the villages to the north. Which the main percentage will not be doing at night time. The council would have to put in a monitoring system for large vehicles to back up my petition.
