Intelligent Street Lighting
We the undersigned Would like the County Council to use the savings from the Part Night street lighting scheme to re-invest in new L.E.D., Solar Powered Street lamps, that are Passive Infra Red or motion activated.
These could be fitted at every third or fourth lamppost to spread the cost and allow them to be retro-fitted across a the county, both in rural and urban areas. They would maximum use of existing technology while providing an effective minimum level of lighting, where needed.
