Turn Street Lights back on
We the undersigned Require the County Council to immediately meet their duty of care to the community by leaving the street lights on during the period of darkness. The action taken by turning off street lights during the hours of darkness in communities throughout Lincolnshire is both dangerous and foolhardy.
The County Council has a duty of care to the community and reports of accidents, anti-social behaviour and crime are beginning to filter through the local communities. This misplaced belief that it is a money saving exercise breaches all required duty of care to both rural and town communities.
