Budget Update for the financial years 2019/20 and 2020/21

(To receive a verbal report by Jill Chandar-Nair, Inclusion and Attendance Manager, in connection with details of SACRE's budget for the financial years 2019/20 and 2020/21. There is currently £4,500 left in the budget to the end of March 2020. Carry forwards are not permitted as this is reserve funding. Details of the 2020/21 budget are not available yet but it is believed it is the same as 2019/20, which is £30000, but this figure needs to be confirmed.)

North and North East Lincolnshire - Lincolnshire Agreed Syllabus

(A verbal report by Wendy Harrison, RE Adviser and Gillian Georgiou, Diocesan RE Adviser. Both North and North East Lincolnshire Councils are intending to make a formal approach to Lincolnshire SACRE to pursue adopting the Lincolnshire Agreed Syllabus for RE in their respective regions).

SACRE Website and Facebook

(This item has been discussed in the past by SACRE. The County Council's website team have now stated that they are ready to develop a website for SACRE. It is suggested that the following items are included on the website and on a FACEBOOK site for SACRE - information about SACRE and what it does; membership of SACRE; Annual Reports; Agreed Syllabus; role of Diocese and Local Authority in relation to RE and collective worship and national links, etc)  

11.

Training Session for SACRE

(Wendy Harrison, RE Adviser and Gillian Georgiou, Diocesan RE Adviser, will update SACRE members on the role of SACRE and the new Education Inspection Framework. This will be accompanied by a power point presentation)

Work with schools: Assessment Hubs

(Wendy Harrison, RE Adviser will provide information about new RE assessment hubs around the county)
