Snipe Dales Joint Advisory Committee

Description

Snipe Dales, situated on the southern edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds is one of the few semi-natural wet valley systems still surviving.  The site covers 220 acres and is divided into two sections: a nature reserve and a country park.  Both sites are owned by Lincolnshire County Council, the nature reserve being leased by Lincolnshire Trust for Nature Conservation (LTNC), and are managed as one unit by LTNC in partnership with LCC.  Site staff are employed by LTNC. The remit of the JAC is to consider all aspects of the management of Snipe Dales.
