Outside body

The purpose of the Group is to provide a focus for the exchange of information on service and funding issues as they affect sparsely populated area and to provide a co-ordinated approach to making representations to the Government for improvements in the level of funding for rural areas.  The Group will also undertake research on specific issues of relevance to rural areas and exchange information on best practice.
