Decision:
(1) That the submission of the business case, attached at Appendix C of the report, to the HM Chief Coroner for England and Wales for the proposed the merger of the coronial areas of Lincolnshire and Grimsby and North Lincolnshire to create a single area known as Greater Lincolnshire be approved.
(2) That the taking of such action as is necessary to support the legislative process for giving effect to the proposed merger on the basis set out in the business case, be approved.
(3) That the Executive Director – Resources in consultation with the Executive Councillor: NHS Liaison, Community Engagement, Registration and Coroners be authorised to take all decisions and actions necessary to deliver the merger in accordance with the business case and relevant Statutory Instrument.
