ePetitions

Lincolnshire County Council welcomes petitions and recognises that petitions are one way in which people can let us know their concerns. Petitions are part of the Council’s ongoing commitment to listening to and acting on the views of the public.

An ePetition is a petition which collects signatures online. This allows petitions and supporting information to be made available to a potentially much wider audience than a traditional paper based petition. Anyone who lives, works or studies in Lincolnshire can organise or sign an ePetition which will be dealt with in line with the Council’s petitions scheme.

All petitions to Lincolnshire County Council are taken seriously and will be acknowledged within 10 working days.

Before submitting an ePetition, you should consider whether this is the right course of action and understand what you need to include. For details, read the county council’s petition scheme, which sets out how petitions should be presented to the Council and how the Council will deal with them.

Guidance on submitting paper petitions can be found here: Submit a petition – Lincolnshire County Council

For support in submitting an ePetition, or for more details on petitions submitted in the last 6 years (including paper petitions) please contact us via email at Democratic Services or by phone - 01522 552334.
