Reinstate the railway line to Louth
We the undersigned I want Lincolnshire County Council to include reinstating the railway line to Louth in their Local Transport Plan, also to acknowledge that I have campaigned for it's reinstatement since 2014 as well.
Louth has been without any rail access since complete closure of all lines serving Louth since 1980. The line northwards from Louth to Grimsby was shut down completely in 1980 after all traffic ceased on the line all together. The New Waltham - Grimsby section of this line was reused for the construction of the A16 Peakes Parkway road into Grimsby.
